This analysis has been initiated by extracting characteristics of an annular SIW slot antenna and thereafter based on the achieved results a linear array with peak gain of 10.03dBi and 2.5% bandwidth has been designed. According to Full-wave analysis which is undertaken using HFSS and CST, gain and bandwidth of proposed antenna is elevated slightly in comparison with waveguide antenna. Furthermore, by altering waveguide structure to a printed circuit one, this design can be easily fabricated with low-cost mass production which leads to a light-weight structure as well.
