In modern times, the innovation ecosystem is of particular importance in achieving the economic development of countries and strengthening their competitiveness. In the article, the economic importance of the innovation ecosystem was studied, and the countries of the world with successful experience in this field were investigated. The USA, PRC, Israel, and Singapore were selected as research objects. In the research, the characteristics of the innovation ecosystem, proactiveness, and measures implemented for innovative solutions were studied in these countries. Furthermore, the factors that hinder the development of the ecosystem and also the factors that promote its development have been investigated. At the end of the research, a comparative analysis was made between the innovation ecosystems of the selected countries.
