The new proposed simple structure of PC power supply with LLC multi-outputs resonant converter has the features of frequency modulation operation with fixed 50% duty cycle, zero voltage switching (ZVS), low voltage stress in the active switches, high efficiency, and excellent compatibility, which can achieve 80 Plus Platinum and 2013 ErP requirements. Energy consumptions at primary side components of full-bridge LLC and half-bridge LLC resonant converter are also compared in desktop ATX PC power supply with high power applications.
