Microstrip Archimedean spiral antenna can be achieved by traditional Archimedean spiral antenna with a dielectric-slab and a mental ground plane. This method could increase the gain of the antenna. However, the main lobe splits at the higher frequency band. A hollow dielectric structure is also designed in the paper.
