Therefore, according to the needs of the national business innovation strategy and the experience of foreign advanced BIM technology, a new engineering project information management system with BIM technology as the core has been formulated. According to the development situation and application status of existing BIM technology at home and abroad, this article summarizes the above-mentioned application results, and analyzes some inherent shortcomings of the existing model. On this basis, targeted access and application of BIM technology are carried out in accordance with the characteristics of the visual operation platform and intelligent construction site.
