The study was conducted by taking a sample using 101 respondents who were workers in a Surabaya shoe factory. The data collection tool used is a questionnaire. The data obtained were processed using the SEM PLS (Structure Equation Modeling Partial Least Square) analysis technique using SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results of this study prove that work motivation does not affect an employee's performance but has a positive and insignificant impact on job satisfaction.
