Numerous proposals have already been implemented in two interesting computational intelligent techniques namely fuzzy logic and neural network. However, findings of optimum values have not been achieved by adopting these two approaches. To solve this issue various optimization techniques have been suggested. For this purpose, physics based, swarm based and human based optimization algorithms have been recommended. Moreover, it has also been noticed that one of the renowned communication schemes like Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) has been enormously used in different field of wireless communication. An exhaustive research has also been executed on this field for further improvement. In this article, modification of a stimulating technique entitled as Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) has been executed “bubble-net” confronting process. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm numerous benchmark functions has been considered. Finally, proposed Improved Whale Optimization Algorithm (IWOA) has been applied on UMTS technique.
