Some fishermen are only after getting as many fish as possible without regard to the damage they are doing to the environment. The purpose of this device is to be able to put a detection system in fishing areas or protected areas to warn coast guards about dynamite explosions in fishing areas. The study was conducted by creating a prototype that could detect explosions from firecrackers and locate the origin of the explosion. The prototype itself was controlled by a Gizduino microcontroller. It was found that mapping the location of the explosion is possible and is limited by the capabilities of the sensor.
