The OFDM system is sensitive to carrier frequency offset (CFO) and hence accurate CFO estimates for the OFDM system are essential. In this paper, we study the problem of carrier frequency offset (CFO) in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems, and then a multi-invariance PM algorithm is proposed to estimate CFO in MIMO-OFDM system. The proposed algorithm employs the property of multi-invariance.
