The impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna covers frequency range from 3.1 GHz to 10.6 GHz. The proposed antenna has circular split ring slot to truncate the band above 10.6 GHz. The measured antenna gain varies from -0.3 dBi to 5 dBi within the passband.
