Firstly, it is necessary to identify the main risk types of offshore wind power projects and the risk factors causing operation accidents. Then, the possibility and severity of the accident are determined by the operation classification method. Finally, the risk matrix based on job classification is established to obtain the risk level of each operation activity. This method is applied to an “S” offshore wind power project to identify and evaluate the risk factors in the operation process. The risk degree of all aspects in the operation process of the offshore wind power project is obtained.
