Small budget, project based, VLSI design teaching method
An introductory VLSI university-level course encompassing all levels of IC design is described. The course is strongly project based, and is achievable even on universities with very limited resources. We describe where and how to get the needed software tools, and how to manage the projects from year to year. A detailed description of one of the projects is also given.
