Quantitative study on the relationship between land use landscape pattern changes and water quality was of great significance to find out the causes of water quality change and improve water quality. Based on the Landsat-8 remote sensing images of Qingshanzui reservoir district from 2013 to 2017, the land use types of Qingshanzui reservoir district were divided, and the landscape pattern index of each land use type was calculated. Pearson correlation analysis was used to study the relationship between landscape pattern index and Reservoir water quality. The results showed that: (1) The water quality pollution index of Qingshanzui Reservoir had declined from 2013 to 2017, and the water quality had gradually improved. (2) The separation index of landscape types in the Qingshanzui reservoir district decreases year by year, and the overall landscape tends to gather, which was significantly negatively correlated with changes in the water pollution index.
