It incorporates risk assessment and risk management methodologies in the analysis of a terrorist attack or natural disaster for three major bridge-tunnels in Southeast Virginia. The results of this study provide insight into how to manage the cascading effects of interdependency risks to the individual case studies, and to the state of Virginia as a whole.
