For determination of the students’ levels of probabilistic reasoning, the probabilistic reasoning \nscale used developed by researchers. The probabilistic reasoning was examined for six key concepts called \nsample space, experimental probability of an event, theoretical probability of an event, probability comparisons, \nconditional probability and independence. In the determination of the students’ levels of probabilistic reasoning, \ndescriptive statistics were used and with Chi-square analysis, the relationships between these levels and the \nvariables to be determined. As a result of the analyses, it was found that the students had the most 3rd level \nreasoning skills in the concepts of the theoretical probability of an event and probability comparisons. A \nrelationship was found between the gender variable and only the sample space. A relationship was found in all \nconcepts with the grade level. As a result of the analyses, it was found that the students had the most 3rd level reasoning skills in the concepts of the theoretical probability of an event and probability comparisons. A relationship was found between the gender variable and only the sample space. A relationship was found in all concepts with the grade level. There was a relationship between the mathematics achievement and the concepts except independence and the experimental probability of an event.
