Water transfer behavior is explained by three characteristic curves such as absorbed water, diffused water, and remained water on the top sheet. New parameters showing diffusion rate in horizontal and perpendicular directions are defined from the characteristic curves of diffused water. Wetting rate and water remaining rate of the top sheet are also defined from the characteristic curves of remained water.
