Analysis of Taiwan residential districts power sources by using hydrogen fuel cells
This paper studies that hydrogen fuel cell technology as a CHP, combined heat and power source, could be a viable alternative energy source because of its low noise and high efficiency rates for residential district use. This studied case examples and showed the benefits of exploring stationary fuel cell systems. Not only a payback model was created for each country's fuel cell system, but also a short analysis on each country's payback discussed what problems arose and whether the fuel cell could be marketable. Finally, a matrix chart was produced to compare the 4 fuel cells against each other to understand how each fuel cell stood as compared to others.
