Performance improvement can be considered over a longer or shorter time horizon. One of the most common goals of this problem is a reduction of active power losses. The problem of distribution network reconfiguration in this paper will be solved by applying the method of open branches moving register. The main idea is to gradually close normally open branches, whereby it is necessary to open one normally closed branch from the formed loop to preserve the radial structure of the network. Due to the wear of the switchgear and its limited service life, it is not desirable to change the network configuration for each observed time horizon, so here will be considered monthly and quarterly reconfiguration.
