An image encryption scheme based on bidirectional diffusion is used to encrypt the 8-bit RGB color image. Then, lossless, autocoder-based compression of the encrypted image is performed to achieve compression. The compression method is used to reduce the size of the images during transmission, thus speeding up the transmission.
