The most important criteria for short-term and long-term operation regime optimization were defined. Mathematical model of multicriteria optimization based on economic (marginal income) and reliability (thermal power plants operational readiness factor) criteria was developed. To solve the two-criteria optimization task the mathematical method of \"successive concessions\" was used. Suggested model was put to test in modelling stationary operation regimes for 100 MW power unit and yielded positive results.
