These managers were selected because of both the explicit and implicit roles they play in technology decisions, including those related to telecommuting. Two variables thought to be associated with IS managers beliefs about telecommuting are isolated for measurement and testing. The two variables are firm size and whether the organization currently has a telecommuting program in place. Results indicate that neither firm size nor the existence of a telecommuting program affect beliefs of IS managers concerning the advantages and disadvantages of telecommuting.
