A Hierarchical Game for Uplink CDMA Transmissions with Random Active Users
In this paper we focus on the control of wireless transmissions in a CDMA cell with users generating random traffic. The quality of service perceived by a user is a function of the average packet delay including the coding process and the retransmission phase. The packet retransmission probability depends on the quality level of the channel which is a function of the signal to interference noise ratio. We determine the equilibrium situation in terms of the number of users in a cell. Considering this equilibrium we are able to optimize the revenue of the base station as a function of the access price and transmission power.
