By utilizing the eight quarter-wavelength spiral slot l a radiator in configuration. In this case, the occupied area of the monopole slot chip antenna on the system circuit board can be further reduced. Antenna has a compact size of 20×20×0.8mm3. It size is minimized so that it can be easily installed to mobile handset. The simulated and measured results show that the impedance bandwidth covers the DVT (470∼860 MHz) band with return loss |S11| than 5. The antenna can get omnidirectional radiation pattern in the whole frequency band.
