Antenna is one of radar components. A design of Vivaldi antenna on Epoxy FR-4 substrate with a dielectric constant of 4.3 as a transmitting antenna was developed in this paper. CST Microwave Studio is being used for the designing and simulating process of the antenna. The antenna is designed to work in the ISM Band of 2.4 – 2.5 GHz with return loss of −10 dB. From the simulation results, the antenna is shown to operate at frequency of 1.35 – 4 GHz or bandwidth of 2654.6 MHz. The antenna also has gain of 5.31 dB, H-plane beamwidth of 120.6°, E-plane beamwidth of 83.3°. From the measurement results, the antenna is shown to operate at frequency 1.35 – 4 GHz or bandwidth of 2655 MHz.
