Main concepts such as knowledge, knowledge work, knowledge workers, innovation in knowledge work and digital technologies along with Socialization, Externalization, Combination and Internalization (SECI) model form the theoretical framework of this research which is used to discuss the research findings. The research adopts the interpretive qualitative approach and collects data through semi-structured face-to-face individual and group interviews. The collected empirical material that is analyzed thematically, yields eight themes which show that knowledge workers’ active interaction with knowledge supports the conversion from tacit to explicit knowledge back and forth. This assists the creation of new knowledge and, therefore, innovation in knowledge work; digital technologies play a supportive role in managing innovation in SME knowledge workers’ daily work.This research contributes to the current body of knowledge within informatics by empowering knowledge workers to share their viewpoints in regards to managing innovation in their knowledge work with the support of digital technologies. It also deepens the understanding of the formation mechanism of innovation in knowledge work. 摘要

本文考察了中国中小企业知识工作者在数字技术支持下对知识工作创新管理的看法。知识、知识工作、知识工作者、知识工作创新和数字技术等主要概念以及社会化、外化、组合和内化(SECI)模型构成了本研究的理论框架,并用于讨论研究结果。本研究采用解释性质的方法,通过半结构化的面对面个人访谈和小组访谈收集数据。对收集到的实证材料进行主题分析,得出八个主题,表明知识工作者与知识的积极互动支持从隐性知识到显性知识的来回转换。这有助于创造新知识,从而促进知识工作的创新;数字技术对中小企业知识型员工日常工作中的管理创新起到了支持作用。这项研究通过授权知识工作者在数字技术的支持下分享他们在知识工作中管理创新方面的观点,为信息学中的当前知识体系做出了贡献。加深了对知识工作创新形成机制的认识。最后,该研究丰富和扩展了现有的知识体系,并为在知识工作中使用数字技术促进创新提供了一些有价值的见解。
