Automated Instrumentation with Common Test Port Pemetrates Millimeter Range
A relished goal of broadband instrumentation is to have a single RF connector interface. Moving over the 30 GHz work to penetrate the millimeter range was accomplished using the 2.92 millimeter connector geometry. The resulting K Connector proved to be more rugged and reliable than the ubiquitous SMA. A full range of components to complete a full range automated scalar network analyzer is described.
