First, the concept of Flow-Aware Networking with special focus on the limitation mechanism is outlined. The automatic limitation mechanism i.e., a mechanism which automatically selects the most suitable flow admission limit during a measurement cycle is proposed, presented and analyzed. This makes the router more robust and invulnerable to faulty set-ups.
