Based on the original data of questionnaire, this paper, using variance analysis method, has empirically tested different factors influencing the mental health of the elderly in Chengdu. The results show that gender, education level, personality, marital status and number of children have a significant impact on the mental health of the elderly. A Study on Factors Influencing the Mental Health of the Elderly in China — Taking Chengdu as an Example
Mental health of elderly people is an important research field of social sciences.
