The Impact of Enterprise Digital Transformation on Innovation Performance

Enterprise digital transformation has become the future development trend, creating new advantages and new driving forces for the enterprises, and is an important way to achieve high-quality economic development. Based on the data of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2020, this paper studies the impact of enterprise digital transformation degree on innovation performance. The results show that: (1) The digital transformation of enterprises plays a positive role in promoting innovation performance. (2) The influence mechanism of enterprises' digital transformation degree to improve innovation performance lies in that it provides enterprises with competitive advantages, enhances enterprises' competitiveness, and then upgrades innovation performance. (3) Further research shows that there are significant regional differences in the improvement of enterprises' innovation performance by the degree of digital transformance development, and the impact is more significant in eastern China. These conclusions have certain reference value for upgrading digital transformation development of China's industry and promoting enterprises' innovation performance.
