This paper presents an approach for the development of an innovative software process model for multimedia CAL systems by applying the process landscaping method. The resulting process landscape focuses on different roles taking part in the underlying software process, providing a role-based view. Additionally, process landscaping provides a restructuring algorithm to achieve a different view where activities are arranged by order of their appearance within the software process.
