Regional Factors of the Level of Wages in Modern Russia

The influence of wage factors in the regions of the country was determined by assessing their statistical relationships of indicators characterizing these factors and the level of wages and by building linear regression models. Correlations between the average and median values of wages and indicators characterizing the influence of regional factors according to Rosstat were assessed. The results of the study allow us to conclude that the level of remuneration is positively affected by the capital-labor ratio, the employment of workers with higher and secondary vocational education in training programs for mid-level specialists, exports, and internal costs of enterprises for research. The depreciation of fixed assets and the employment of workers with only general secondary education, regardless of its level, have a negative impact.
