Classical configuration space and Schrodinger wavefunctionals for the photon
The concept of a Schrodinger wavefunctional for an electromagnetic vector potential is used to give a new measure of localizability of photon states. The mathematical properties of the relevant infinite-dimensional Hilbert space are discussed.
