The high increase in the range of vehicles on road and increasing urbanization results in the drawback of traffic congestion in the areas. The present study focuses to know the cause of traffic congestion and to find out the impact due to traffic congestion on the Economy of people, Health of people, and Environment. This study is conducted in Vadapalani, Chennai. Out of the total population, 243 samples were taken for the study to know the impact of road traffic congestion through the survey methods. Further, the collected data is analyzed using SPSS statistical tool. Various analysis like independent T-test analysis, Chi-square analysis, correlation analysis, and One-Way analysis was conducted for the collected data to know whether the traffic congestion created the impact. From the analysis it is found people's health gets affected, people have to spend more on transportation which results in an impact on their economy and the study says that the environment gets polluted due to traffic congestion.
