The situation of Indian health care is degrading by the day (Standard, 2016). Hence it is essential to identify the factors of work engagement among them and the factors which make them perform and leave the organization. The current research examined work engagement, job performance, and turnover intentions using validated scales among nurses. The researcher tried to explore the impact of work engagement on job performance and turnover intention using PLS-SEM. The impact of job satisfaction on the possibility of turnover intention is also investigated. A validated scale on work engagement, job performance, and turnover intentions is used to collect the data from respondents. A significant positive relationship is found between work engagement and job performance. An insignificant relationship is found between work engagement and turnover intentions among nurses working in government hospitals. An insignificant relationship is also found between job performance and turnover intention. The present research is supportive to all the government hospitals to identify work engagement levels among nurses. The current research also describes the state of turnover intention among professional nurses.
