Effect of source parameters on beam self-collimation in 2D photonic crystal
The influence of source parameters on self-collimated Gauss beam in two-dimensional photonic crystal is analyzed by finite-difference time-domain method. The transmission fluctuation with source shift, the stable beam-expansion suppression with increased source width are observed and explained.
