Data were analyzed using Kaplan-Meier curves and Cox regression.</p><p><strong>Result: </strong>Person-days shift workers and day workers seeking treatment for hypertension were 41,604 and 327,301, respectively and, for diabetes, were 7326 and 60,735, respectively. The log ranks were statistically significant.
