Successful surgical correction of a cataract in a chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes) via field setting at a zoological facility

A 41-year-old male vasectomized, zoo-housed chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes) presented with progressive visual deficits due to bilateral cataract formation.
