However, there are many issues that need to be handled when accessing cloud storage on resource constrained mobile devices due to inherent limitations of mobile devices as limited storage capacity, processing power and battery backup (<span>Yeo et al., 2014</span>). There are many multi cloud storage applications available, which handle issues faced by single cloud storage applications. In this paper, we are providing analysis of different multi cloud storage applications developed for resource constrained mobile devices to check their performance on the basis of parameters as battery consumption, CPU usage, data usage and time consumed by using mobile phone device Sony Xperia ZL (smart phone) on WiFi network. Porosity is one of the defects most frequently encountered in ductile iron casting. Porosity impacts cost by scrap loss and limits the use of cast parts in critical high strength applications. The amount of porosity is closely related to the parameter of sand casting process. The gating/riser system design plays a very important role for improving casting quality. Many researchers reported that 90% of the defects in casting are obtained only because of improper design of gating and feeding system. The main objectives were to study the existing design of gating and feeding system, to optimize the gating and feeding system using Auto-CAST X1 casting simulation software, to prepare the sand mold and cast the part, to compare the simulated result and experimental results, to reduce rejection rate and to enable the company to again start the production.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":92112,"journal":{"name":"Perspectives in science","volume":"8 ","pages":"Pages 39-42"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1016/j.pisc.2016.03.001","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83160033","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the mobility of devices, the topology of the network may change rapidly and unpredictably over time, making multicast routing and route maintenance a very crucial task. Plenty of protocols have been proposed for the construction of virtual backbone, but they have limitations in terms of control overhead, delay, throughput, energy consumption and mobility. As a part of multicast routing, virtual backbone construction has been proposed and classified into three different techniques: tree-based virtual backbone, cluster-based virtual backbone and dominating set-based virtual backbone. Upon this classification, plenty of protocols are available, and each protocol has some limitations in terms of control overhead, delay, throughput, energy consumption and mobility.
