We employ the auto-regressive distributed lag (ARDL) approach for analyzing long run and short run nature of relationship among variables. We also apply diagnostics including, normality check, serial correlation test, heteroscedasticity test and CUSM models for the stability of the models. \u0000Findings: We finds that exchange rate and inflation have a long-term negative relationship, but oil prices, stock returns, and stock market volatility have a long-term positive relationship with stock market liquidity. Furthermore, these findings are robust under three different proxies of stock market liquidity for three sectors: text composite, textile weaving, and textile spinning. \u0000Implications/Originality/Value: This study extend the existing debate on the relationship between macroeconomic variables and stock market liquidity in developed world to the emerging equity market. It also contributes by examining the impact of macroeconomic variables on the sectorial levels in equity market by using three proxies for stock market liquidity including, Amihud liquidity, average trading and trading volume.

Directorate of Special Education Punjab adopted the same curriculum for CWVI. This study is an effort to identify the standards, benchmarks and SLOs which are difficult to accomplish for CWVI. It was a qualitative study by method and curriculum review/document analysis technique was applied to study the SNC. The complete curriculum of seven key learning areas at early childhood level and following six subjects of English, Urdu, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Islamiat and General Science were studied at primary level. The data was retrieved from the website of National Curriculum Council, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Islamabad, Government of Pakistan. Collected information was coded, major themes were derived and interpreted. Results revealed that a large number of standards, benchmarks and Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) were easy to accomplish for CWVI as non-disabled children but many standards, benchmarks and SLOs were not easy to accomplish for CWVI due to their visual limitations and lack of sufficient need based support. The study recommended that proper adaptations, modifications and accommodations should be made for CWVI especially to attain the geometry, science and geography related standards, benchmarks and SLOs including adaptations proposed by Directorate of Special Education Punjab. Pictorial representations and visual tasks should be substituted with some other learning tasks for CWVI. \u0000

In Pakistan, substantial efforts are made, both in government and private sectors of education, to promote education. Resultantly, a huge number of educational institutions have been established. The students are the only elements for whom the whole system of education is established. Both, parents and teachers, should feel the responsibility of providing the students with all the educational opportunities for the development as conscientious citizens. This article is an extension of the work by Iqbal et al., (2020), which focuses on exploring the strategies to improve secondary education. Iqbal et. al., (2020) used QFD methodology, and found out the Needs and Demands (N&Ds) of students and their parents; and then explored the Technical Solutions (TSs) to address these N&Ds. The results showed that ‘Teaching Behavior’ was highly important TS with weight of 71, and ‘Checked through Technical devices’ with final weight 57 and “Followed Proper time table by teachers” with weight 55 remained at second and third positions respectively. If we consider weight as the priority factor, the N&D with highest weight deserves to be considered first. But, statistically, because of the random variation in the data, two TSs with different weights could be of same importance. The rationale of this article is to test the weights difference of two TSs by using the methodology developed by Iqbal et al. (2014). This will provide guideline to others education experts to test the significance of any two TSs whether they are equally important or not. If the computed difference is insignificance, they may be treated equally.

The present study attempts to investigate the empirical R&D expenditure-economic growth nexus in developing and developed economies, and also provides useful insight about how R&D investment works to enhance the economic growth of a country. \u0000Design/Methodology/Approach: In this regard, 21 years data of top 100 economies of the world from 1995 to 2015 has been utilized. The Panel ARD Model approach has been preferred to explore the impact of R&D investment on economic growth (GDP). For construction of the estimation model, five different variables are used. In order to accomplish the results, along with analysing the data of 100 countries a whole, analysis has also been made by dividing countries into different categories and groups. Overall, the Panel ARDL test has been performed on nine different groups of countries. \u0000Findings: The results reveal that, ceteris paribus, there is a strong positive association between R&D expenditure and economic growth (GDP) in the long-run; 1% increase in GERD leads to 0.07% increase in GDP. However, the impact in the developing countries (0.043%) is lower compared to the developed OECD countries (0.27%). No impact of the R&D expenditure on economic growth is observed in the short-run. \u0000Implications/Originality/Value: The study presents some thought-provoking ideas, policy recommendations and implications for the policy makers, planners and researchers, especially in the context of developing economies.
