One of the jobs in the field of community service is teacher. Burnout is a state of tiredness and frustration caused by the pressure of work and hampered desires which results in a decline in physical condition, emotional exhaustion and prolonged mental fatigue. Research was conducted to determine the relationship between personality types, especially using the big five personality theory, with burnout in MTsN honorary teachers. The approach in this research uses a quantitative approach with two scales, namely the mask burnout inventory (MBI) scale and the big five inventory (BFI) scale. The sample in the research was 127 honorary teachers with a sampling technique using total sampling. Data was collected using questionnaires directly and online (Google from). This research was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research are that there is a joint relationship between the big five personalities and burnout in honorary teachers based on the results of the F test with a significance level of <0.05, namely 0.000 with a fairly strong correlation of 0.570.","PeriodicalId":516961,"journal":{"name":"In Trend : International Journal of Trends in Global Psychological Science and Education","volume":"85 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139893366","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hope is the ability possessed by an individual to create a strategy in achieving a goal with the overall motivation he has to recognize the strategy chosen in achieving a goal. Meanwhile, the quarter life crisis is a process of high instability, drastic changes, too many choices and feelings of panic and helplessness. This phase appears in individuals aged 18 to 29 years. This research uses quantitative methods with a quantitative correlational research design. The population in this study were final year students in West Sumatra with a total of 195 students as subjects. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data collection tool uses the quarter life hope and crisis scale. Data analysis uses the product moment correlation coefficient. The results of the research show that there is a negative relationship between hope and the quarter life crisis in final year students in West Sumatra (r=-0.514: p=0.00). A significant negative relationship means that if an individual has high hopes then the level of quarter life crisis for the individual will be low, and if the level of quarter life crisis is high then the level of hope experienced by the individual will tend to be low.","PeriodicalId":516961,"journal":{"name":"In Trend : International Journal of Trends in Global Psychological Science and Education","volume":"2 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139896471","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Utami","doi":"10.62260/intrend.v2i1.119","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.62260/intrend.v2i1.119","url":null,"abstract":"Subjective well-being adalah evaluasi individu terhadap kehidupannya sejauh mana penilaian kognitif dan reaksi afektif individu menunjukan bahwa kehidupannya diinginkan dan berjalan dengan baik. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara peer support dan subjective well-being pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Negeri Padang. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Negeri Padang. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Proporsionated Stratified Random Sampling dengan total sampel 387 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan korelasi spearman. Berdasarkan hasil olah data, didapatkan nilai r = .211 dengan p = .000 untuk peer support dan kepuasan hidup. Nilai r = .239 dengan p = .000 untuk peer support dan afek positif. Nilai r = .208 dengan p = .000 untuk peer support dan afek negatif. Sehingga dapat dilihat kesimpulannya bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara peer support dan komponen subjective well-being pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Negeri Padang. Artinya semakin tinggi tingkat peer support maka subjective well-being mahasiswa tingkat akhir juga akan meningkat. Berbeda dengan hasil penelitian sebelumnya, peer support berhubungan signifikan positif dengan afek negatif. Hasil penelitian ini tidak sejalan dengan hasil penelitian Matsuda et al (2014) yang menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi dukungan sosial maka semakin rendah afek negatif yang dirasakan. Tentunya penelitian ini sangat menarik untuk di telaah lebih jauh lagi oleh peneliti selanjutnya.","PeriodicalId":516961,"journal":{"name":"In Trend : International Journal of Trends in Global Psychological Science and Education","volume":"9 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139896312","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study uses quantitative methods with a comparative quantitative design. The population in this study is teachers in state schools and teachers in private schools. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. This study has a sample of 60 teachers with details of 30 samples coming from SMA N 2 Lengayang and 30 samples from SMK Technology Lengayang. The instrument used in this study is the work ethic scale developed by Ngalia (2011) with a total of 27 items. This instrument is based on aspects of the work ethic from Cherrington (1980) which has 3 aspects including: work as a moral obligation, high work discipline, and pride in the results of work. Analysis result using independent sample t-test. The results of the data analysis test show that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0,048 < 0,05 which means that there is a difference in the work ethic of teachers who teach in state schools and teachers in private schools, where teachers in private schools have a higher work ethic.","PeriodicalId":516961,"journal":{"name":"In Trend : International Journal of Trends in Global Psychological Science and Education","volume":"8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139893630","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
