From the era of the Indus River Valley Civilization, Mesopotamia, to the golden age of the Islamic Caliphate and the European Colonialist Empire. Kings, emperors, and sultans always established close relations with intellectuals and religious leaders. Religion has been a tool for governing society since the beginning of human history. The research method used in this literature review involves analyzing various literature sources relevant to the theme of religion and state relations in the context of Islamic perspectives. This research will focus on the development of views in the context of the 20th century with the emergence of integralistic, symbiotic, and secularistic paradigms in managing the relationship between religion and state, to provide a comprehensive picture of the dynamics of this thought in a relevant time frame. All these paradigms reflect the complex dynamics in the debate over the concept and implementation of the relationship between religion and state within the framework of Islamic thought.

Although medication can help lower blood pressure, it often has side effects. Gene therapy using small interfering RNA (siRNA) has been proposed as a potential solution to regulate blood pressure by targeting proteins involved in blood pressure regulation, such as angiotensinogen. A study on rats aimed to determine the effect of intravenously administered siRNA-angiotensinogen on blood pressure. The siRNA was designed using sequence-angiotensinogen mRNA Rattus norvegicus obtained from NCBI and was given to normal and spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) in different doses. Blood pressure measurements were taken at various intervals after treatment, and angiotensinogen protein was isolated from blood plasma for analysis. The results showed that siRNA treatment decreased blood pressure in both normal rats and SHR, while the placebo group did not experience a decrease in blood pressure. The reduction in blood pressure in the SHR group ranged from 21-53% (SBP) and 17-58% (DBP) compared to the control group. Gene therapy using siRNA has the potential to provide long-lasting and highly specific control of blood pressure, and further research is needed to explore its effectiveness and safety in humans.

The public's low dental hygiene knowledge is the main factor causing this problem. This research aims to increase public understanding and awareness of dental health as a first step towards improving dental health. \u0000Using analytical methods with a cross-sectional approach, the study evaluated the condition of gingivitis in denture users, both made by dentists and dentists/dental technicians in Sungai Alang Village, Banjar Regency. The results of the study showed that the highest level of severe gingivitis was among users of dentures made by dentists, followed by mild gingivitis, while moderate gingivitis was rarely found. \u0000Among users of dentures made by dentists/dental technicians, the most common group is mild gingivitis, followed by moderate and severe gingivitis. Interestingly, individuals who wore dentures for more than ten years had a 5.1 times higher risk of developing severe gingivitis than those who wore them for 1-5 years or 6-10 years. Furthermore, the risk of gingivitis was higher in those who made dentures at a dentist, with a gingival score difference of 0.121 compared to those who made dentures at a dentist/dental technician. These findings provide important insights regarding factors that can influence the level of gingivitis in denture users in the Sungai Alang Village community and Banjar Regency and emphasize the need for more intensive dental health education to increase public awareness and understanding of dental hygiene.

The government has accelerated digital transformation, but regulations must strengthen and anticipate all obstacles and impacts of digital transformation. To reduce adverse effects and increase the growth of various sectors, digital transformation must be guarded by adequate regulations that strengthen rather than hinder it. Currently, the acceleration of digital transformation is supported by Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation, Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 82 of 2023 concerning the Acceleration of Digital Transformation and Integration of National Digital Services, and a statement from related state institutions. A digital literacy program has been held, but a Microsoft survey shows that Indonesian society's digital civility still needs to improve. Based on the Global World Digital Competitiveness Index 2023, Indonesia is in the 45th position out of 64 countries, still behind Malaysia and Thailand. Completing the 2021-2024 Digital Indonesia Roadmap is one of the mandates from the five 2020. The roadmap focuses on four strategic domains: modernizing digital infrastructure, accelerating digital government, digital economy, and digital society. The government has embarked on an ambitious nationwide digital transformation program, and there is a palpable energy on digital transformation efforts at all levels of government.

Sharia principles are increasingly extending to non-financial services beyond the traditional domains of banking and financial institutions. The Sharia economic supervision system includes the DSN-MUI, a regulatory construct. However, a critical issue arises due to legal loopholes, notably the non-state status of DSN-MUI established by the Indonesian Ulema Council. \u0000This research addresses the legal policy direction concerning Sharia economic supervision in Indonesia, specifically examining its connection to DSN-MUI. The investigation aims to understand why these legal policies result in an uneven implementation of the Sharia financial supervision system. Employing qualitative research methods, document searches were conducted, and the findings were presented descriptively for inductive analysis. \u0000The research reveals that legal policies concerning Sharia economic supervision require strengthening DSN-MUI's position in overseeing Sharia economic practices. The imbalance in the Sharia financial supervision system is attributed to a dual monetary system adopted by state administrators, contradicting Article 31 Paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution, which advocates for a family-based financial system. This misalignment of Sharia economics in the national economic framework renders the construction of a Sharia economic supervision system by DSN-MUI non-imperative, non-integrative, and incomplete. Consequently, this may impede the growth of Sharia economics in Indonesia. Efforts should be made to rectify legal policies and institutional structures to ensure a more cohesive and supportive environment for Sharia economic practices to flourish in the country.

Clinically, studies have shown that NCDs are major risk factors for COVID-19 morbidity and mortality. Meanwhile, the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected multiple aspects of health services, also affected NCD care services. Indonesia is a country with double burden of diseases with a rising number of NCD as a health problem. The disruptions caused by COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia can worsen the burden of NCDs. This study aims to learn the extent of disruptions in NCD care services in Indonesia due to COVID-19. Literature study and descriptive analysis were used to approach study objectives, : Indonesian studies detailing the full extent of NCD care services disruptions by COVID-19 were scarce, however, they showed that NCDs care disruptions in Indonesia mirrored that of global reports. Disruptions were caused by closure of services, shortage of staffs, and decline of visits. During the COVID-19 pandemic, inpatient services were dominated by COVID-19 patients, as reflected by bed occupancy ratio (BOR) which often exceeded allotted amount. Another disrupted aspect of NCDs care services were public health efforts and community prevention, intervention, screening and monitoring. COVID-19 pandemic impacted various aspects of NCD care services, including in Indonesia. While the exact extent of disruptions was largely not studied, NCD burden might rise in the post-pandemic era as a result, and thus it is important for stakeholders to prioritize NCDs as a health problem in the post-pandemic era
