The study sample consists of 107 pregnant women of age range 18 to 50 which was collected from different parts of Kerala. Google forms were used for the study and a questionnaire measure was used for the data collection. They responded to demographic variables, Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). The data analysis done by SPSS software version 23 using statistical indicators such as mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient and ANOVA. Findings revealed that there is significant negative correlation between perceived social support, stress and depression. Also perceived family support and depression are negative correlated in pregnancy. In addition, there is a statistically significance difference in the mean value of depression between the different trimesters (first, second and third trimesters) we considered. Results clearly point out that psychological health of pregnant women is vulnerable and perceived social support positively affecting their mental health.","PeriodicalId":491096,"journal":{"name":"International journal of Indian psychology","volume":"39 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141655293","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Forgiveness encourages compassion. To highlight important findings, an overview of recent research on forgiveness is offered in this study. The research was conducted through a detailed review of the literature of different research done on the variable “Forgiveness”, in the last five years. The research articles demonstrate the correlation between forgiveness and various areas like love, crime, covid, well-being, work outcomes, self-forgiveness, divine forgiveness, sports, gender differences, cross-cultures, suicidal survivors’ trauma, young adults, as well as adolescents. The review article also presents the relationship between forgiveness and religion, forgiveness therapy, emotional forgiveness, and brand forgiveness. The conclusion encompasses together all the major findings of the literature reviewed. The topics needed for future research, the limitations, and the strengths have also been included in the conclusion.","PeriodicalId":491096,"journal":{"name":"International journal of Indian psychology","volume":"52 32","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139965447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study examines the neural correlates of PPTSD by drawing a symptomatic overlap between Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). Methods: Literature databases included Google Scholar, PubMed and Mendeley. Following a preliminary screening, six exclusion criteria (Inadequate data, No neural correlates, Comorbidities, Lifetime prevalence of PPTSD, Inconsistent results, Age criteria) were applied. The reference lists of all selected papers were also screened. Results: A total of sixty-three papers were reviewed and critically appraised using the Joanna Briggs Inventory. This study examined the neural networks and dysregulations associated with Partial Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PPTSD), shedding light on the intricate interplay of brain regions contributing to the spectrum of PPTSD symptoms. Five key neural networks and regions that play a central role in PPTSD were identified. The Default Mode Network (DMN), Salience Network (SN), Executive Control Network (ECN), Emotion Regulation Network, and the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenal (HPA) Axis. Along with which the role of the hippocampus in conjunction with these networks was also highlighted. Conclusion: These findings emphasise the complex neural landscape underlying PPTSD, with the interplay between these networks and regions contributing to a wide range of neural dynamics. Further research, including neuroimaging and neuromodulatory studies, is needed to explore these interactions in greater depth. Understanding these neural mechanisms is crucial for developing effective interventions and treatments for PPTSD and related disorders.","PeriodicalId":491096,"journal":{"name":"International journal of Indian psychology","volume":"6 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140492093","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through a comprehensive study involving 2 multinational and 2 national companies, the research analyzes key components such as creative change, customer focus, core values, agreement, and coordination and integration. The findings reveal that multinational companies exhibit significantly higher adaptability, driven particularly by strong scores in creative change and organizational learning. Although no significant disparities were identified in overall consistency scores, multinational organizations consistently demonstrated higher scores across core values, agreement, and coordination and integration. The study emphasizes the interdependence of adaptability and consistency traits, providing actionable insights for leaders aiming to foster resilient and effective organizational cultures. While the research has certain limitations, such as a reliance on self-reported data and a cross-sectional design, it lays a foundation for future explorations into the nuanced dimensions of organizational dynamics across diverse global contexts.","PeriodicalId":491096,"journal":{"name":"International journal of Indian psychology","volume":"70 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140496615","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
