Clustering is beneficial to select the appropriate stock for investors. Unfortunately, stock prices keep varying from time to time. Consequently, it is not an easy work to select the stock for investment. In addition, stock price time series data are high dimensional data that influenced by many factors. In this study, high dimensional data are obtained by the time frame of each factor. Therefore, it is important to use a suitable technique to cluster high dimensional data. This paper presents High Dimensional Data Clustering (HDDC), a model-based clustering based on Gaussian Mixture Model, using the Expectation-Maximization (EM) algorithm. HDDC via EM algorithm gives a more robust result, and it possible to make an additional assumption. Moreover, this paper combines a high-dimensional clustering technique HDDC via EM algorithm and the most popular feature extraction technique Principal Component Analysis (PCA). This paper comparing methods of clustering technique HDDC and the combination between HDDC and PCA to know the most effective method which gives better result in clustering high-dimensional time series data. The 155 data features are reduced to 7 principal components using PCA analysis. Despite PCA has increased the time efficiency of building the model, clustering technique HDDC via EM algorithm enables to handle the high-dimensional data better than the combination with PCA.","PeriodicalId":442421,"journal":{"name":"2019 16th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114054910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the sharing economy is changing people's consumption habits and raising the new theoretical questions to operation management. Since the sharing economy has subverted the traditional industrial economic pattern, this paper studies consumers' decisions and the sharing platform's pricing strategies with a particular attention to the B2C sharing platform. To this end, this paper conducts two models to investigate the optimal pricing strategy and economic effect of product sharing. A basic model is developed to analyze the economic impact of the sharing economy by comparing with the traditional market, and then, an extended model is studied taking moral hazard of consumer under consideration. finally, numerical experiments are conducted to derive some managerial insights.","PeriodicalId":442421,"journal":{"name":"2019 16th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114616736","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In response to the complex and changing market demand, more and more retailers are beginning to transform into dual-channel retailers. However, in the process of transformation, the following problems will be encountered: how to set the price of products for online channels and offline channels; consumers' acceptance of online channels. In view of the above problems, this paper considers factors such as the degree of consumer acceptance of online channels and the cost of purchasing by consumers. This article studies the competitive situation of different types of retailers in the market, and makes a comparative analysis of the competitive equilibrium of unified pricing and differential pricing strategy when different types of retailers open dual channels. We got three discoveries. First, in the fierce market competition, dual-channel retailers have more competitive advantages than single-channel retailers. Second, for traditional retailers, they can gain more profits and competitive advantages by adopting differential pricing or uniform pricing strategy compared with before the transformation. Finally, the rational choice of e-commerce retailers is to use differential pricing in the transition process, or not to transform to ensure price advantage.","PeriodicalId":442421,"journal":{"name":"2019 16th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121785335","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The competition means supply amount competition. Considering the competition, we study the optimal price decisions for reverse supply chain members by game theory. We present the optimal collecting prices for two collectors and the optimal reclaiming price for remanufacturer. By numerical example, we analyze the impacts of competitions on the optimal results under supply amount competition. The research results show that: under supply amount competition, when one collector reduces IERs, the other one can get small increasing of profits even though he does not reduce his IERs; the remanufacturer can get more profits.","PeriodicalId":442421,"journal":{"name":"2019 16th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124983253","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The level of labor productivity has an important influence on coal mining. In this paper, Hybrid-DEA model is used to evaluate labor productivity and relative gas emission is taken as an undesirable output into the factors affecting labor productivity. Based on the statistical data of a large coal enterprise in China from 2015 to 2017, this paper makes an empirical analysis of the labor productivity in the production process of a coal enterprise from the micro level, which provides decision-making basis for the production management of a coal enterprise. The study shows that there is much room for improvement in the labor productivity in most of the mining areas of the coal enterprise, and the labor productivity in more than half of the mining areas continues to decline. Wilcoxon test method is adopted to analyze the comprehensive efficiency and key improvement indicators of labor productivity from the perspective of the mining area located in the urban or suburban areas. The results show that there are significant differences in comprehensive efficiency and production cost between the two groups. The comprehensive efficiency and key indexes of the suburban mining areas are better than those of the urban mining areas.","PeriodicalId":442421,"journal":{"name":"2019 16th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125074177","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These indicators are classified as four dimensions: total amount of work, transportation quality, service level and execution. Entropy weight method and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) are adopted to determine the comprehensive weight of each indicator, which is also enriched by the introduction of region factor. Besides, the drivers' individual relative progress factor is added into this evaluation model to better measure their efforts. In the empirical analysis of x company, the rationality and performability of the model are tested by comparing with the previous performance evaluation result. The result showed that this improved model could fully reflect the performance of logistics drivers and make effective distinctions between them. Also, this model can provide a basis for subsequent salary assessment and task allocation priority. What's more, it has practical significance for encouraging drivers to carry out tasks obeying the algorithm instructions.","PeriodicalId":442421,"journal":{"name":"2019 16th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127764470","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To solve the sustainable operation problem without government funding, the platform operator provides two subscription plans: paying annually and paying per service, which integrate the value-added business benefit distribution mechanism and consider grading diagnosis and treatment. To optimize the subscription plan and investigate the decision of hospitals, the optimization theory and Differential Evolution algorithm is employed. The research shows that the introduction of subscription plans can achieve the sustainable operation of semi-compact city medical association; regulate the price of value-added medical service can promote the willingness of community hospitals and platform operator revenue. However, increase the proportion of platform operator in value-added service will reduce the sustainability of semi-compact city medical association.","PeriodicalId":442421,"journal":{"name":"2019 16th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128049032","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
