The study aims at revealing to what extent the play Omar is a modern Arabic poetic play. Omar is a historical drama that deals with social problems. Omar presents a vision of Arabic drama in the modern age, but it is also a poetic play. For that, it is the task of the researcher to try to prove that Omar bears several grounds, such as poetic devices and connotative symbols, to be called a poetic drama. The investigator adopts the critical-descriptive method in analyzing the first scene of the introduction of the play, Omar. The paper is planned with an introductory overview dealing with a brief view of poetic drama and blank verse. The second part deals with Ali Ahmad Ba-Kathir as a pioneer poet-dramatist. The main part of the study deals with the epic play Omar with reference to the first scene of the introduction, shedding light on the skillfulness of the writer in manipulating poetic and musical devices. The task finishes with recommendations and a brief conclusion.","PeriodicalId":436785,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social sciences and humanities","volume":"146 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132160299","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect of knowledge management (KM) on intellectual capital (IC). The study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how knowledge management initiatives affect the development, utilization, and enhancement of intellectual capital. The research method used is a quantitative approach, using data collection techniques with survey methods by distributing questionnaires. Data were garnered with questionnaires from 96 employees. To achieve this objective, a quantitative analysis was conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) as the analytical tool. Moreover, the regression analysis demonstrated that knowledge management practices significantly predict intellectual capital in Commercial Risk Group, Bank Mandiri. The study found that knowledge management processes, including knowledge socialization (KS), knowledge externalization (KE), and knowledge internalization (K1) were significant predictors of intellectual capital. These results emphasize the importance of fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning within the organization to enhance intellectual capital. In conclusion, this study provides empirical evidence of the positive impact of knowledge management on intellectual capital in Bank Mandiri. This title was raised from the study conducted by Hoban as a team leader, in 2018 which was carried out in Bajawa district, Central Flores. However, the title was inspired by an assumption that the Reba ceremony contains a set of roles that it plays, among others as an instrument to create a harmonious relationship with the Almighty and the Ancestors. This is an important and interesting issue to be discussed in this scientific paper. Then, it aims to examine more deeply the role of the Reba traditional ceremony. Moreover, the problems as stated above can be analyzed that based on the structural functionalism theory was introduced by Talcott Parson (in Pell, 1994:60). He argues that every element in society has a function, which is contributed to maintain a system as a whole. Related to this theory, the Reba ceremony is an element of the Bhajawa Society of their life system. Based on that theory, the ceremony attached to it an important role in the life of its people.","PeriodicalId":436785,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social sciences and humanities","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133356377","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indonesia urgently needs good forest governance. Therefore, it is essential to give a more significant role to local communities in managing forests in the future. The primary objective of this research project is to find sustainable forest management practices based on the customary law of the Bayan community. This research uses the literature review and case study method. An additional objective of this research is to study the problems that occur due to the absence of legal protection for local communities with regard to forest use and conflicts. This research demonstrates that the Indonesian government provides extensive support to the private forestry sector (for example through award of permits) and has ignored the rights of people who live around the forest. Forest management through customary law, such as Awiq-awiq in Bayan village, can provide great economic, social, and cultural benefits to local communities. Awiq-awiq regulates prohibitions, sanctions, and the procession of the customary assembly in association with forest management, and has been an effective way to use forests sustainably. The local community is highly compliant with awiq-awiq because they have been directly involved in drafting and reviewing this regulation. The customary law approach used by the Bayan community is an example of sustainable forest management practices that run well; and could be a valuable model for the Indonesian state and other forest conservation managers to consider.","PeriodicalId":436785,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social sciences and humanities","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130075539","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
