Aimed at the problem resulting from uneven illumination and slowly-changing global illumination in the strip test site, the background difference algorithm is adopted in strip surface defect detection. Firstly normal strip surface image as the initial background is fast reconstructed through Gaussian-background reconstruction algorithm from the collected initial video sequences of strip surface, because of the grayscale differences between defect area and normal strip surface, the background is subtracted from the current frame image, and accurate extraction of the defect region is achieved after thresholding, labeling and defect-location processing. While taking advantage of the current frame to date information on background image can be well adapted to the slow changes in ambient illumination. Two lines are cut off from the complete ground plane of the EBG structure and the defected ground plane can be viewed as a coplanar waveguide with characteristic impedance of 50 Ohm. The other layer of the EBG structure is not changed. The surface wave band-gap range can be obtained from the transmission curve of CPW in two cases: EBG inserted and no EBG inserted. Furthermore, the electric field distribution within and beyond the stop-band are studied. And we also investigate the influence of EBG rows on the band-gap. The results extracted from CPW method agrees very weD with that of TEM waveguide model. Compared to the most used experimental method, suspended microstrip line method, the CPW method is a one-layer structure which leads to be low-cost, easy-made and more effective. Both simulated and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the CPW method. This circuit design scheme can expand applicable range of semiconductor resistance sensors and improve measurement accuracy, which has good practicability. In this paper, a multi-objective ant colony optimization algorithm is proposed for rough feature selection. This algorithm evaluates the constructed solutions on the basis of Pareto dominance. Moreover, it only uses the non-dominated solutions to add pheromone so as to reinforce the exploitation and adopts crowding comparison operator to maintain the diversity of the constructed solutions. In addition, it avoids premature convergence by imposing limits on pheromone values. Numerical experiments are carried out on gene expression datasets. Finally, the optimal solution of strategy selection scheme is generated. In this paper, we try to forecast the movements of Shanghai Composite Index using Generalized Autoregressive Condition Heteroskedasticity model. In order to increase accuracy, we introduced data mining technique and carried out forecast with single, multiple and optimized indicators. The first job is how to reduce the amount of the video data that must be transmitted on the wireless channel. The second job is how to scheduling the video streams at the access point (AP) and achieving the best overall quality of service (QoS). For the first job, we will compare the deviation of two consecutive frames in the video stream and decide whether or not the follow-up frame should be transmitted. If the deviation of two consecutive frames not reach the threshold, the latter frame will be discarded, and the former will be keep in the server. Otherwise, it will be transmitted. We adaptively adjust the threshold at server to reduce the traffic load over the wireless channel. Proper power control can increase system capacity and, especially, overcome the near-far problem effectively. Therefore, many researchers have done great works on this topic and got a lot of achievements during last decade. Adaptive control based on Least Square Algorithm is one of the commonest methods to control systems with uncertainties by estimating unknown system's parameters. However, applying the adaptive control algorithm to wireless communication systems is still a fresh topic and most of those works assumed that the wireless communication channel could be modeled by a linear system with a Gaussian white noise, which would lead to control error in the real channel environments. This paper presents a robust adaptive power control algorithm based on Extended Matrix Least Square for CDMA systems with colored noise.
