Moreover, we prove that there exists a two dimensional area, when the data rate is in this area, the DGW system will have a higher overall performance. The article analyses the preliminary results in the short-term traffic flow forecast, takes full advantage of the characteristics of K-neatest neighbor (KNN) classifiers, and builds a model based on nonparametric regressive algorithm.The historical and metrical data is classified by KNN,and the state vector is constructed by utilizing the output of KNN classifier. Traffic flow forecasting for the next period is entirely based on the state vectors.The experimental results show that the model was verified more accurate.","PeriodicalId":422513,"journal":{"name":"2009 First International Workshop on Education Technology and Computer Science","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131311701","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Energy cost is an important constraint in task assignment of wireless sensor network (WSN). Sensor networks typically have a large number of nodes. To ensure scalability sensor networks are often partitioned into clusters, each managed by a cluster head (gateway). Tasks need to be allocated to gateways in such a way that maximizes the life of these cluster heads and eventually the whole network. In our work, we present an optimization scheme for task assignment to gateways. Simulation results show that energy savings can be obtained with the proposed method. In our mobile learning system about Chinese learning for foreign students, it would show a good implement on Energy-efficient.","PeriodicalId":422513,"journal":{"name":"2009 First International Workshop on Education Technology and Computer Science","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115428192","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Matlab’s rich and powerful functions provide various methods to analyze the signals and systems, including both continuous and discrete situations. Some methods can simplify the complicated calculation; some finish the same functions in accordance with the mathematical processing; and some can save operation time via efficient algorithms. That is to say, Matlab can be used at different levels to help students solve problems quickly and efficiently, or help them understand the signal processing procedures deeply and in detail, even apply their knowledge on data structure to develop some new algorithms. Matlab helps to make the boring theoretical study less abstract and more vivid and has become an important auxiliary teaching method being used widely.","PeriodicalId":422513,"journal":{"name":"2009 First International Workshop on Education Technology and Computer Science","volume":"13 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115839157","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on which, an appropriate multi-scale conceptual model is given in detail with multi-scale extended E-R method. Firstly, HSV color model and RGB color model are combined, and contours of the vehicles in image are detected based on phase congruency. Secondly, contour projection method is utilized to get candidate vehicle regions. Finally vehicle region distinguishing algorithm are applied to the candidates, as a result the exact positions of vehicles are obtained. Experiment results show that the new algorithm has strong robustness and suffers small from the luminance, contrast of image, noise and shadows. Furthermore, it is suitable for images including more than one vehicles and has higher accuracy compared with common algorithms.","PeriodicalId":422513,"journal":{"name":"2009 First International Workshop on Education Technology and Computer Science","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124264227","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
