Unfortunately, the government's current leadership development approaches have been under resourced, ineffective, not comprehensive, and not fully infused with the concept of the public stewardship and public trust. This paper explores an understanding of leadership and its application to government through an exploration of leadership models from emerging research and the literature. The value of this approach is to take a plethora of dispersed complex models and combine them in a context suitable for a smart, needed, and relevant discussion.","PeriodicalId":400995,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Smart Education and Urban Society","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125180521","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The steady progression of CSR highlights the need for organizations to coordinate the fulfillment of legal, philanthropic, moral, and financial obligations to ensure appropriate strategies toward sustainability initiatives and positive behaviors toward environments, the population, and monetary gain. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the causation by which organizations adapt green organizational cultures. Some findings suggest organizational cultures are forced to adopt new philosophies in a changing environment governed by corporate sustainability efforts. These green conceptual models transform human resources (HR) role in changing and creating organizational cultures that influence organizational strategies in ways that support sustainability and influence the organizational impact concerning climate change.","PeriodicalId":400995,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Smart Education and Urban Society","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127261518","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indeed, the ministry is working to create a legal, institutional, and functional framework for start-ups, as well as a roadmap for financing these enterprises. In this context, our contribution is to propose the educ-entrepreneur model for formalizing entrepreneurship education in Algerian universities. In this process, the authors have included two key topics to work on: 1) promote educational innovation in higher education; and 2) create concrete projects centered on a key economic sector to encourage the formation of new businesses, thereby promoting local, regional, and national economic development. In this paper, the researchers investigate the implementation of the educ-entrepreneur model at Oran 1 University and present preliminary findings.","PeriodicalId":400995,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Smart Education and Urban Society","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130923230","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Key elements of communication between hotel staff and various types of guests were identified, and variant scenarios of communication situations were prepared. Scenarios are based on the principles of effective simulation. The methodology of training communication skills of hotel employees using virtual reality tools was compiled on the basis of foreign research in the field of using virtual reality in training processes. The tool is a pilot test in teaching tourism workers, specifically for the development of their communication skills in dealing with clients. The paper presents, in detail, a model of virtual reception and methodology of communication skills training, which was verified on students who are preparing to work in tourism, as well as on hotel staff with experience.","PeriodicalId":400995,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Smart Education and Urban Society","volume":"149 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133964181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The rapid growth of industrialization, automation, and allied insecurities across the globe requires people educated in a STEM discipline to focus on hands-on learning with real-world applications accosting a variety of skill sets, scientific might, and creativity. But what challenges are being faced in its adoption? How do overcome those challenges? This bibliometric analysis aimed to find the answer to these questions relating to STEM implementation in higher education along with way outs for improvement. Findings revealed a considerable number of deescalating factors such as socioeconomic status of the students, gender biases, lack of teachers’ understanding of STEM, the insufficiency of resources, and the eventual science anxiety. After deep deliberations over past literature, the authors suggest gradually pushing whole STEM education in a project-based manner, adopting an integrated STEM curriculum, focussing on the informal learning process, and","PeriodicalId":400995,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Smart Education and Urban Society","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125819533","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
