The importance of the comparator circuit in the applications of data transmission is illustrated. Several tests using the Cadence IC 5.3 software were carried out in order to investigate the accuracy of the output data signal. The tests were computed for the high and low level of the clock. The malfunction of the comparator structure due to the effects of the electrostatic field is investigated. After a short presentation of the current solutions on the market in the batteries field, measured quantities and their variation ranges are determined. It proposes a block diagram of the laboratory and presents the hardware and software elements of the equipment. The charger/discharger is a computer pending current /voltage source and sink aimed to test the charging/ discharging properties of various battery types, voltage and capacity. The uncertainty of the liquid density affects the accuracy of the measurement in proportion to the volume difference between the weights. The manufacturer specifies two ways of calibrating the liquid density using the software. These ways require manually measurements in air and in liquid with empty / loaded suspension, performed before starting automatic comparisons. In this paper we present another method for measuring the density of the liquid with the volume comparator VC1005. To allow the necessary time for the technology of renewable resources to mature, a requirement is to increase the energy efficiency. In this regard the smart grid concept was implemented, but whose efficiency depends on creation of a framework through which the end user can actively participate in the energy marketplace. End users must be able to understand how the energy is used so that they could find possibilities to increase the efficiency of energy. Within this paper the architecture of a smart system (smart meter) capable to disaggregate the whole energy consumption into individual consumers is presented. Several prototypes have been presented and tested in different conditions. A major challenge for such vehicles is the fact that they depend on advanced sensing technologies to perceive the environment and make real-time decisions. The complexity of this task typically requires multiple sensing devices, which is both a technical challenge as well as a limiting factor for autonomous vehicles evolution to mass-production. In this paper we review the current main sensing technologies for autonomous ground vehicles, their suitability and maturity status, as well as the way they have been used in prototype cars. Currently there are available methods that use time domain and frequency domain analysis to detect the frequency of a signal. Within this paper a new time domain method is presented, which analyses the mean values of data segments of the investigated signal. The output voltage of those inverters has a large content of high-order harmonics. The amplitude of those harmonics must be reduced or, ideally, totally eliminated. In this paper we propose a method to achieve this goal by using a Star-Zigzag connection winding transformer. Graur","doi":"10.1109/ATEE.2013.6563517","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ATEE.2013.6563517","url":null,"abstract":"In this paper we present the implementation of a neural network model trained with a high noise level using backpropagation algorithm and the experimental results for printed character recognition, based on the idea of using the primary information by reorganising it in a different format. The model is made up of four neural networks and the values obtained at the outputs of each network are processed by using three analysis modules. For noise input vector applied to all 35 bits and up to 50% change their values obtained performance is 99.5% and this value decreased to 93.5% for a noise level of 60%. For a three bits input vector disturbing rate of 90-100%, three bits at a rate of 70-90%, two bits at a rate of 50-70% and ten bits between 0-50%, the performance obtained is 90.7 % for module MAX and 91.7% for SUM module.
