At this stage of a woman's life many hormone-related changes occur. Among these changes are swelling, increased frequency of urination, nausea and sickness, body mass gains, muscle tensions and discomforts. To relieve these discomforts there are different massage techniques on the market. The manual massage for pregnant women, the Imediatt method and the Ybá massage are manual resources that provide a series of benefits to the pregnant woman, each one with its peculiarities. Manual massage provides relief from muscle tensions, decreases anxiety and pain, and produces emotional benefits. The Imediatt massage for pregnant women promotes the improvement of edema and relaxation of the pregnant woman. Ybá massage relaxes the mother and calms the baby through touch, aromatherapy, music therapy and chromotherapy through silk. Objective: To compare the effects of classic relaxing massage, Imediatt method and Ybá massage for pregnant women from the third trimester. Methodology: This comparative and qualitative study consists of applying the three different techniques of massage with data collection (blood pressure, heart rate and perimetry), before and after the procedure, to measure the real benefits of each technique and to compare them . Results: At the end of the massages, heart rate and blood pressure increased, resulting from cardiac output in the gestational period, where it increased (30 to 50%) reaching a maximum value between 20 (twentieth) and 40 (fortieth) week, which makes postural changes more sensitive (due to the fact that the growing uterus compresses the inferior vena cava, decreasing venous return). Conclusion: It was observed after the end of the massages that the methods Relaxing Classical Massage, Ybá Method and Imediatt Method, presented good results in the evaluation for sleep and relief of back pain. In decreasing edema through perimetry the Imediatt Method had better results. In terms of relaxation, the pregnant women reported a better sensation of lightness and connection with the baby, especially for Ybá massage. It was concluded that the pregnant client should receive the massage treatments in this period to promote well-being, relaxation, improve edema and have more connection with the life that is generating.","PeriodicalId":391637,"journal":{"name":"Revista Científica JOPEF","volume":"247 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115661319","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the objective of the present study was to reflect on the importance of sports practice in childhood, its relationship with possible reasons for abandoning the practice permanently, and the impact of this in adult life. In order to carry out this research, we used the Scielo, Google academic database with theoretical scanning through the keywords: \"sports initiation\", \"health\" and \"abandonment\", in the search period between 1998 and 2018. The data analyzed indicate that even if a child is part of a sports team, the play should prevail, especially for those who practice a certain sport only for leisure and / or for non competitive purposes. It is up to the teacher / coach / coach to instruct each child in order to provide health gains as well as strive for a balance between recreation and competition. Frustrated sports practices in childhood can impact on a sedentary adult, since the previous experiences of the same were not positive, with that the culpabilization of this can fall on the professional. The more playful and entertaining your experience in practice, the easier your staying will be. When it comes to the children's audience, the Physical Education professionals who work in this environment, in a multiprofessional work with Sports Psychology, must take into account the taste that the child acquired with the practice of sports, creating strategies of motivation for the permanence of it in the sport . With this, sports initiation assumes a significant role of social, physiological and psychic development of the child, making sports practice more pleasurable and healthy.","PeriodicalId":391637,"journal":{"name":"Revista Científica JOPEF","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133171266","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, due to technological advance, majority of children have become sedentary, which affects their anatomical composition, impairing their health. Therefore, the goal of this study was to identify the postural of active kids and sedentary kids in elementary school. Were used is students at Professora Hilda RomaziniMeloSchool, União da Vitória – PR, in the year 2018. The sample was composed of kids of both sexes, between the ages of 8 to 10 years old. The data collection instrument used was Pate’s formulary, published by Mota, 2012. In order to do the postural assessment, it was used a simetograph. At the end of the study, it was observed that more than 70 percent of the students had any kind of postural deviation; as the amount of physical activity increased among the students, it was possible to notice that the development of their postural patterns became better. All of the alterations that were found are predisposed to correction by a muscular strengthening and stretching program properly accompanied and oriented by a Physical Education professional.","PeriodicalId":391637,"journal":{"name":"Revista Científica JOPEF","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128258390","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is a quantitative, descriptive and field research, with 5th grade students duly enrolled at Prof.ª Hilda Romazini Melo School, União da Vitória- PR, in the year 2018. In order to perform the study, the students were divided into two different samples, sample A for the experimental group, which did flexibility training for 8 weeks, and sample B, control group, both of them did the pre and post test of the physical capacities. In order to collect data, pre and post-tests were performed for each physical capacities analyzed: square agility test, to measure agility, Wells Bank to measure flexibility, 20-meter test to measure speed and Long Jump test to check power. Furthermore, it was observed that the training improved besides the flexibility, the power of the students in 100%. Nevertheless, it was possible to realize that the training helped the students to keep the speed and it is not possible to say whether the training benefits the agility of students or not. Thus, the research leaves the suggestion of giving sequence to its elaboration, since this subject, has extreme relevance and should gain prominence in Physical Education and related areas.","PeriodicalId":391637,"journal":{"name":"Revista Científica JOPEF","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131904524","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
