In a CR network, a secondary base station (BS) serves a couple of users, i.e., near and far users, via NOMA transmission under eavesdropping from a malicious attacker. It is assumed that the direct transmission link from the BS and far user is absent due to obstacles. Thus, an IRS is utilized to support far user communication, however, the communication links between the IRS and near/primary users are neglected because of heavy attenuation. The exact secrecy outage probability (SOP) for the near user and approximate SOP for the far user are then derived in closed-form by using the Gauss-Chebyshev approach. The accuracy of the derived analytical SOP is then verified through Monte Carlo simulations. This low complexity algorithm is efficient and applicable for both Legacy and recent Wi-Fi devices which are based on IEEE 802.11n/ac/ax/be standards. The algorithm maintains for each station a statistic of the Packet-Error-Rate of its feasible transmission rates considering its actual received signal strength indicator available at the access point. For each station, the algorithm then deduces the achievable throughput of these feasible transmission rates and selects the best one which results in the highest achievable throughput. We simulated this algorithm in MATLAB as well as implemented it in a Wi-Fi access point which is based on Qualcomm chip-set. We measured the performance of this device in laboratory and real Over-The-Air environments. The simulation and measurement results confirmed that the rate quickly converges to the optimal value when the channel condition suddenly changes. In this paper, we propose a joint optimization of user pairing strategy with beamforming and power allocation to maximize the minimum downlink rate per user. To solve the problem, we first relax the binary variables to continuous variables, and then we develop an iterative algorithm based on the inner approximation method. To provide the transmissions from the BS to UEs, we propose to adopt UAVs as aerial relays, given that massive MIMO, a mainstream technology for the next generation network, is assumed to be deployed at the BS. In this work, we provide a novel analytical analysis of the proposed UAV relay mMIMO system focusing on the spectral efficiency. Furthermore, the system sum rate maximization problem is also formulated by jointly optimizing the altitude of the UAV and the quality-of-service (QoS) conditions of ground UEs. The problem is naturally hard to solve due to the non-convex constraints and non-concave objective function. To address it, we propose a two-step algorithm based on inner convex approximation. LiteX and SpinalHDL are two intertwined frameworks in the design flow. The CPU core was created with SpinalHDL, while the integration of IP and CPU cores was performed with LiteX. Verilog source code was generated with the configured 32-bit RISC-V architecture after the design was completed on the high-level framework. This 32-bit RISC-V architecture was successfully built on a Nexys4DDR FPGA and ASIC using a 65nm CMOS process operating at 50MHz. It incorporated Verilog HDL-based hardware accelerators with customized assembly instructions for conventional cryptographic functions such as SHA-1, AES-128, and RSA-2048 cores. As the Internet of Things (IoT) includes a considerable number of devices, their efficient management is essential. It is also crucial to leverage frameworks to handle the heterogeneous IoT resources, regardless of their technology, to be part of a single ecosystem. FIWARE, a widely used IoT middleware, offers a set of services to tackle such heterogeneity in IoT. Among them, we have Ultralight and Lightweight Machine-to-Machine (LwM2M) IoT agents. However, which one of both should we choose under a given situation? In this paper, we present the results of their comparative assessment in both mobile and stationary scenarios. The study targeted packet loss, delivery delay, and bandwidth occupancy widely adopted metrics in networking. We show that network conditions may have a substantial impact on the performance of any of the services. We derive the formulas to convert the channel model of the 16-ary QAM communication systems into an equivalent channel model of the binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) communication system so that the standard double-layer Tanner graph, whose complexity level is the second order of the number transmit only, can be employed to jointly detect and decode the information bit. Furthermore, we perform extensive computer simulation works to discover that the equal-weight superposition constellation is the best choice in the coded system as the system can enjoy the power gain of the constellation and exploit the error-correcting power of the protograph low-density parity-check codes (LDPC) previously designed for LS-MIMO channels. Common source configuration with inductive degeneration is used for input stage to optimize noise Figure (NF) and input matching. The output stage with capacitive cross-coupling neutralization technique help to improve gain and reverse isolation for increasing stability. For the 1-st time, a double defected ground Marchand balun is implemented to convert single-ended signal to differential signal. The proposed LNA uses 2S-nm CMOS technology from TSMC and shows a typical NF below 3.9 dB, a 22.5 dB gain peak, a small amplitude and phase imbalance in the bandwidth from 22 to 30 GHz. However, many people do the exercises without professional assistance, especially when practicing at home during Covid-19. Inappropriate exercising can negatively impact and even result in muscle pain. In this paper, an exercise coaching application is developed to understand what the user is doing and provide useful assessments and guidelines to assist the users. The proposed application takes RGB image sequences from any off-the-shelf cameras widely integrated into smartphones or laptops as input. First, skeleton sequences are extracted from RGB images using the public tool Google MediaPipe. Then, a real-time action recognition based on the temporal sliding window and DD-Net model is proposed to determine the action class. Two frame-based and sequence-based scores are estimated to provide a quantitative assessment. With that being said, a big issue of encoder-decoder based models is the lack of semantic information during the decoding process despite the backing up of the skip connection layer. In this paper, we address this challenge with our proposed model. Inheriting the idea of spatial path and semantic path from BiSeNetV2, we replaced the skip connection between encoder and decoder blocks with Adjusted Bilateral Guided Aggregation (ABGA) layer. In addition, we also leveraged the efficiency and elegance from EffecientNet as the model’s encoder.
